About David Yarian, Ph.D.

Sex Therapist and Psychologist David Yarian, Ph.D.Dr. David Yarian received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Michigan. He has been a Psychologist in private practice in Nashville, Tennessee since 1980, specializing in marital and family therapy, the treatment of anxiety disorders and depression, grief and bereavement, stress management, and recovery from child sexual abuse. He is a Certified Sex Therapist.

Dr. Yarian has been Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University, as well as clinical supervisor at the Vanderbilt University Psychological and Counseling Center. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Family Therapy Academy, the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, and the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute.
